Inspired by a childhood treat that many Argentinians would purchase for cents in a Kiosk on their way to school

Truffles RIO DE LA PLATA are also inspired by the name of our country, Argentina, which means Silver and the origins of this denomination goes back to the trips of the first Spanish conquerors in search for this precious metal.

The Goldilocks of Chocolate

Perfect chocolate. Although one tin is just enough for a party, I seem to have bought a great many tins to enjoy ... just because! Highly recommended.

Incredible!

Was extremely impressed by these truffles. As someone who doesn't normally enjoy alcoholic chocolates but loves alcohol and chocolate in their own right, I can firmly say that these truffles ticked all the boxes.
The chocolate was really well tempered with that satisfying 'snap' as you bite into them, the chocolate was the right side of dark but not bitter.
The dulche de leche was the perfect consistency, not too runny not too firm, and the balance between caramel and the rum was perfect.
Can highly recommend especially to those who don't normally like the overbearing alcoholic-ness of regular alcoholic chocolates, 10/10!
