This box is inspired by the Tango SIGLO XX CAMBALACHE that means a mix of different things all levelled. Each of these Alfajores represents an icon of the Argentine identity.

Delicious!
Delivered very quickly and bought as a present for a friend with extensive experience of S American. He was delighted to receive them.
To be clear - I haven't eaten these personally as they were a present, so am only able to pass on the comments from the people who received them.
The pieces were very large and had to be cut to share them. Both people involved felt that they were very sweet (too sweet really) but otherwise were interesting.

We're sorry to hear that the recipient of your gift was not entirely satisfied. This is the first time we've received feedback about the size of our alfajores; the 60g size is traditional, and in South America, they are often even larger. They can also be cut to a desired portion size. We believe this provides a good quantity of product for the price.
Regarding the flavours, taste is very personal. Some of our alfajores, like the Caminito, are indeed sweeter (as described in the product details), while others, such as the 70% dark chocolate and dulce de leche, are less so. We've found that what one customer considers too sweet, another might find to be their favorite.
It's a shame that your friends rated the product as 3 stars, especially since you took the time to select a unique gift not typically found in supermarkets. However, we respect their personal opinion. For future reference, we do offer an 85% dark chocolate option which might be more to their taste.

Love this product absolutely delicious and very unique. Such an attractive gift too will continue to purchase from here, very good customer service and speedy delivery with nice packaging and presentation. Only warning is purchase well in advance at Christmas as the products sell out fast...!

Thanks Fernanda for your review! Actually we have both, for example the RE Negro alfajor is an 85% dark chocolate. It all depends on personal taste, we offer from 45% milk to 85% dark (no extra sugar added). And smaller sizes? sorted! the MINI Alfajores are a perfect 2-bites size option :)
The flavours are so distinctive and well crafted. The quality of the ingredients is also superb! Fast delivery and good presentation
I will only suggest that perhaps they could potentially offer to return the individual tins and gift boxes. They are lovely, but I’m sure I’ll buy more than once in this place (I actually ordered for a second time right after the first purchase) and I wouldn’t want to throw away the tins if I have too many, maybe there could be a way of sending them back and recycling them in the future .
Thanks Ayelen for your review! it means a lot to us. Regarding the tins, it's a great idea but unfortunately we can't get them back because we use them for food items. But please feel confident to put them for recycling (aluminium is one of the most efficient material for recycling, with a rate higher than glass for instance) Or you could also repurpose them (we love to hear from our customers about the multiple uses of our packaging. We even dream about making art with them!)

Lovely flavours, subtle and rich. Generous fillings and despite the variations are proper alfajores.

Incredible - never tasted anything quite like them
I went to visit my nephew in Barcelona a couple of weeks ago and when asked what he would like as a present he said Sur alfajores! They are simply the best alfajores in the world! I don't blame him. It's also a great present!
As an Argentinian based in London, eating alfajores is one of the this you miss the most from home (family aside) so imagine my face when I received this box from a friend as a gift! I was delighted and so happy! First time i tried SUR and now I’m obsessed telling everyone about them! 🌈💘

My whole experience has been amazing, from pre-order to eating!
I reached out to ask if a custom order to accommodate my dietary requirements was possible. Maria replied late(r) that same evening, with a positive, warm and humour-filled response.
As they are made to order, I expected to wait a while but they were made super fast and they arrived within 5 days from placing the order.
And the product itself - just amazing! The Alfajores I ordered (vegan, with a gluten-free biscuit) were incredible. They tasted just amazing - the taste was so so good! Like rich and lucious without being heavy or sickly. Such a good taste. And they held their shape with contrasting, complementary textures.
And they look beautiful, with both the top and the underneath of the chocolate delicately decorated - so unique and honestly almost too good to eat.
And then packaging is lovely. They arrived in a tin that can be reused, with an image of some street art in Buenos Aires and a menu inside the tin.
The product also came with a leaflet that explained all about Alfajores, product provenance, the business and the business owners.
Everything has been so heartfelt and genuine and warm and personal - it’s just happiness-inducing! Thanks so much to Sur Chocolates for amazing Alfajores and amazing customer service.
